Would You Rather? Book Tag

I found this short tag on Carton-Manette-Darnay several months ago! I left out one question because it was specific to a book I haven’t read.

The Questions:

Have an unlimited money for Ebooks, or a 5,000 dollar B&N giftcard?

“Unlimited” anything is pretty tempting, but I think I’d go for the $5,000? You can get more from B&N than books, and I think I’d get more use out of it. Unlimited ebooks, I’d either download a zillion and never read them or just get ebooks at my current rate of “one every so often,” and not save much money. If I didn’t have library access, I’d go for the ebooks.

Meet any deceased poet, or J.K. Rowling?

Ummm… I guess J.K. Rowling? Mostly to grill her on why Dumbledore isn’t actually gay in anything and ask some other technical questions? I feel like meeting a deceased poet wouldn’t really be that useful to me in my life right now. Maybe Shakespeare.

Write the world’s most famous book, or visit the world of your favorite book for one day?

Write the world’s most famous book, easily. If it was “move to the world of your favorite book,” I’d take that, but just one day? That’s worse than nothing. That’s Every Heart a Doorway all over again, and we all know how much I cried through that.

Choose ______ or ______ ? (Insert characters from your favorite fictional love triangle.)

Betty or Veronica? Veronica, definitely. But Betty is a better match for Archie.

Experience Hogwarts in a very realistic and accurate virtual reality, or travel around the world for a year, at no cost.

Travel at no cost. I’m not clear on how this virtual Hogwarts would work, but the question very specifically says it’s virtual. So either you know it’s virtual, or you’re being fooled, and either of those sounds sad. The travelling would be real.

 I Tag:

Anyone, as always!

  1. Most of my answers are the same as yours. $5000 because there’s more you can do with it, and I’m not a fast enough reader to take advantage of unlimited e-books. That and I would prefer to financially support the authors that I like. JK Rowling because I’m not all that much into poetry. I wouldn’t want to visit the world of my favourite books (it would actually be kind of horrifying). I generally don’t like love triangles to begin with. And definitely travel for a year over visiting a virtual Harry Potter world. There’s so much I’d love to see that is way out of my price range.
